On July 17, 2011, The Charles Penzone Salons hosted their 13th annual Mother/Daughter Spa Day benefiting A Kid Again. The Charles Penzone Grand Salon in Dublin closed its doors to regular guests, so team members can volunteer their time to pamper girls with life threatening illnesses and their mothers. Over 100 A Kid Again honorees enjoyed a wonderful day filled with hair and spa services, dinner and other special activities. Over 70 Charles Penzone team members volunteered their time and talent to help make this event happen.
New to the event this year, mother and daughter will each receive a one on one make-up application, daughters will attend a Debbie’s Club™ session and they will obtain a special sneak preview of Debra Penzone’s new book, “Debbie’s Club™ Discovering MyTrueBeauty™ for Girls,” scheduled for release on August 1, 2011. Throughout the pages of her new book teen girls everywhere can live the Debbie’s Club™ experience through colorful photographs, learn valuable lessons from Debbie and discover and cherish their unique beauty.

*if you have deep pores, i don’t recommend using vaseline on your face. if you do use it, keep in mind that it stains clothing too (like silks & bed sheets). So if you do use it, use a thin layer. i normally use it for my legs after i shave and as a chapstick.
*cetaphil is a deep moisturizer. great for people with dry skin. however, if your face tends to be oily, just use a thin layer.

On June 29, 2009 The Charles Penzone Family of Salons hosted its 12th annual Mother/Daughter Spa Day at the Grand Salon in Dublin from 4-8 p.m.
The Charles Penzone Salons collaborated with A Kid Again, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing year-round fun-filled group activities for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families, to provide this day of pampering to teenage girls and their mothers.
Over 65 Charles Penzone team members carried on the tradition of volunteering services by donating their time and talent for this years event, despite the state of the economy. Ninety-nine A Kid Again daughters and mothers enjoyed spa and hair services, dinner and special activities to provide them a day of relaxation at the Salon. Each honoree, and her mother, received two spa or salon services, dinner and a special beauty class geared toward her individual needs.
